Lust List #13

Thursday, 28 January 2016

I feel like I have been the busiest person recently with working, holidays and catching up with things after Christmas, I have totally been neglecting even the simple things like shopping! Online shopping is definitely one of my favourite things as I think there is so much more diversity and you can always find a great deal. There hasn't been a lust list on my blog for a while so thought I'd let you know what I am looking for at the moment.

Cut Out Lace Heels
I know that nearly every girl I know has a pair of these, but I refused to buy a pair during the winter as I knew I would never have the chance to wear them in this freezing weather. These would look great paired with either of the skirts featured. I'm swaying over buying them as I'm not sure if the whole trend is a fad. But they are only £19.95 and come in lots of different colours.

Faux Leather Pencil Skirt
This skirt is what I need in my life right now. It's on trend, sophisticated and would look great paired with a number of things in my wardrobe. I actually just bought a black faux leather wrap skirt from H&M which I love so I'd really love to expand my leathers section of my wardrobe. This ones a steal at only £14.99.

Asymmetric Wrap Skirt
Again, this is another item that I really want in my wardrobe. As some of you might know, I'm heading to Barbados in March and I think this skirt would be a great addition to my summer essentials. I love that it would be really easy to wear and looks so comfortable. Grey is one of my favourite colours to wear at the moment but I also love the khaki. Plus it's only £6.95!

Tartan Cigarette Trouser
How amazing are these? I know that tartan trousers are supposed to be really cringey but I'm really into them. This pair would be great with a white shirt or fine knit jumper, I've got a couple in mind in my wardrobe that I would love to wear with these and for only £9.99 you can't really complain at that.

Lace Blouse
I really love the colour of this blouse, neutral colours have really been in this year and I think it will be a while before they go out of fashion. And the fact that the blouse is only £3.35 makes it so worth while. I'd pair this with a dark denim pair of jeans and black ankle boots.

Nylon Tote
I've been after a Longchamp bag for ages. Looked at them in numerous stores and in the airport on more than a few occasions. But I've never quite committed to one due the the fact I could justify spending so much on a bag I didn't think was totally worth it. So the thought of a really similar bag at a fraction of the price really appeals to me - £9.99 for a large bag is pretty incredible.

Faux Fur Waistcoat
These have been really popular this winter and I've seen them around a lot. I tried a few on but never really found the one that I really liked. Black is definitely the colour I'd go for so I really love the idea of getting this one. It's only £10.89 so if I don't like it at least it won't feel like I have wasted tons of money.

Multiway Bodycon Dress
I have been dreaming about going to Barbados ever since the idea was mentioned months ago and obviously this means scrutinising my current wardrobe in prep for going. This dress would be such a great and versatile piece to take with me as you can wear it so many different ways and for only £13.99!

1. PU Leather Jacket; £8.54 - Since it has been horrible weather in Aberdeen recently I have been looking more and more into my Autumn/Winter outfits. I came across this jacket really recently and decided to give it a go. It only took a couple of weeks to come but I was fairly impressed when it finally came. Considering this cost me less than £10, the quality isn't amazing but it is worth what you pay for and I love this royal blue colour.

2. Loose Casual Chiffon Blouse; £5.11 - I adore easy to wear blouses/jumpers when it comes to Autumn/Winter, often I just want something warm and fashionable to put on that looks great with jeans. This blouse has woollen sleeves so gives a nice twist to an everyday normal shirt which I really like.

3. Woollen Blend Long Jacket; £12.99 - I am in love with this jacket, not only for the colour but the cut looks fantastic too. I love the idea that the one button is easy to wear casually open or buttoned up. I am really interested in this jacket and I think before the end of the month I will have ordered it. For so cheap you can't really go wrong, can you?

4. Loose Bat Wing Blouse; £6.99 - Again this is another easy to wear blouse that would be great for popping on with jeans before heading to uni. I always want something that is comfortable since I am in and out of classes and lectures so this would be perfect for it. Plus I am getting more into the dark Autumn colours, navy is great because it pretty much goes with everything.

5. Long Lapel Blazer; £4.73 - I don't have a little black blazer and think this would be a perfect addition to my wardrobe. I like the idea that it is a little longer than usual blazers, as being tall I have quite a long back and this would be perfect for me.

Long Mermaid Evening Dress - £24.39

Long Chiffon Evening Dress - £55

With it coming into Prom and Graduation season I wanted to do a lust list of some alternatives to spending ridiculous amounts of money on an evening dress. Personally I am in love with the first and last dress, and am so close to buying both for an occasion that I have coming up in the next few weeks. As I am super tall I find getting long, floor length dresses extremely hard. This is why I tend to shop for dress with a band around the waist as I am able to tailor this and make the dress a little bit longer.

Which dress do you love?

Since moving back home for placement a couple of months ago my free time has become none existent. I work my part-time job a couple of days then it's mostly placement the rest of the week, throw in work fashion events and catching up with friends from home and my life is pretty much none stop. Don't get me wrong I adore it. Thankfully it means I have had to completely reinvent my wardrobe for all of my outings. Currently I am craving some sexy party dresses to wear on nights out with friends.

Backless bodycon dress; £12.99
Black tailored asymmetric dress; £19.99
Monochrome shift mini dress; £12.99
Monochrome striped asymmetric dress; £12.99

Which dresses would you choose?

Embroidered Butterfly Sweater - £15

Tartan Checked Pencil Trousers - £17.50

Asymmetric Graffiti Print Mini Skirt - £13.60

Asymmetric Hem Loose Sweater - £11.55

My friends call me an eBay whore, and I will not dispute this whatsoever. I love the site, I can literally find anything I am looking for and at a great price As always I am lusting after sweaters, the weather in Scotland has been pretty awful lately so I have been living in them. They are super comfy and go with just about everything, which is always handy when you just want to throw something on. Tartan has also been on my mind recently, and these trousers are to die for. For the price they are you really can't go wrong with them. I loved the Zara skort because it played with the traditional cut of shorts/skirts, and this is the same reason why I love the mini skirt. Lust List #8

Thursday, 9 January 2014

I think we all realise by now, I adore eBay. It's cheap, I can always find what I am looking for and generally there is a high-street copy of the thing I am lusting after. So I will continue in trying to bring you my favourite picks from the online marketplace.

Fluffy Cropped Jumper - £9.35
Cold Shoulder 3/4 Tee - £3.77

Two-Piece Shirt Sweater - £7.60

Long Sleeve Jumper - £8.26

I am still loving jumpers over the winter season, they keep you warm and can still look super chic. And all of the styles come to under £10! January is always a hard month when it comes to finances, so this cheap lust list will hopefully help you make your pennies go further.

Is there any specific things you want me to feature on my next lust list?

Lust List #7

Saturday, 7 December 2013

I must apologise for my late post, but I have been super busy with Uni all day! Anyway back to the post. I adore eBay, you can pretty much find anything you are after somewhere on the online marketplace. My favourite reason for buying regularly from the brand is the fact that you can find the things you want and a cheaper more reasonable price.

Tartan Asymmetric Skort - £12.99

Loose Pullover Sweater - £13.99
Monochrome Sweater - £16.99
I am totally crushing on these sweaters, it has been such bad weather here in Aberdeen and you really need something like this to keep you warm during the icy season.

What do you think of my lust list picks this week?
