Style Crush #11: Gigi Hadid

Saturday, 28 February 2015

So I figured it was finally time for another lust list since I haven't posted one in months and everyone always really enjoys them. I recently discovered Gigi Hadid when watching some of the NYFW 15 and instantly fell in love with her. Not only is she stunningly beautiful but she also has the best effortless street style I have seen in a while. Her combination of simple t-shirts or shirts with well-fitted jeans makes her look effortless and stylish which is so simple to emulate in your own wardrobe. I'd love to have access to her wardrobe. I can't wait to see more from the 19 year old model and think it is very likely she will be one of the next top models everyone is obsessed with.

Not only is her everyday street style on point but her whoever her stylist is for events is doing their job rights. She just always looks fantastic whether it is on or off the runway. And her hair. I want it.

Have you heard of Gigi before?

Style Crush #10: Leighton Meester

Sunday, 3 August 2014

Whether you know her as Leighton Meester or more likely Blair Waldorf from the hit American TV show, Gossip Girl, there is no doubt that one way or another you have completely fallen in love with her sense of style. Not only does this beautiful lady have hair, body and a husband to die for - she's bagged Adam Brody if you have been living under a rock - but she also has the wardrobe to match. Queue jealous stares.

Casually you can find her living in well-cut classic skinny jeans and a simple tank or blouse, while at movie premières she wows in daring cutout pieces and sparkles in sequins and embellishments. There is no doubt in my mind this girl isn't fashion royalty.

Style Crush #9: Emma Watson

Wednesday, 15 January 2014

I think just about every girl, and guy for that matter, grew up reading and watching the Harry Potter series. We all watched as on screen actress Emma Watson developed her personal style over the years, and boy has she come into her own. With dramatic hair cuts, playful ensembles and striking make-up she can always make an entrance.

After Emma's outfit at the 2014 Golden Globes, I think it is safe to say she isn't going anywhere on the style front. I adore this dress and trouser combo. Not only it is innovative and chic, but channelling that vibrant red oozes sexy. Well played Miss Watson.

Style Crush #8: Naya Rivera

Tuesday, 3 December 2013

I love, love, love this girl. As a Glee fanatic I first stumbled onto Naya from her on screen role as Santana and instantly loved her. Her sassy portray of a confused teen really appealed to me, and the way the writers developed her character through the struggling relationship with Brittany made me love her even more. I always have and will be team Brittana. You may not like me for it, but I am a self confessed Gleek.

Anyway, back to the lovely Naya Rivera. Obviously we can all appreciate how utterely stunningly beautiful she is. Her skin always looks flawless, and I am so jealous of her hair, it looks so thick and luscious. I need to get my hands on whatever product she is using.

This is my favourite look as I think she almost looks like she is channelling her inner Kim Kardashian. I admit, I really think both Naya and Kim are beautiful women and really dislike the amount of hate that Kim receives about her body. Like I said, this whole outfit I am lusting after. I know what you might think, that is a lot of cleavage on show, but boy can she pull it off.

If I had a body nearly as toned as hers, I would be the happiest girl alive.

Style Crush #7: Miranda Kerr

Tuesday, 5 November 2013

In Uni last week my friends group had a little debate over a Costa lunch of whether we liked Miranda Kerr or not. Personally I am all about this chick. She is stylish, sexy and has a rocking body with having a kid - I'm talking washboard stomach, it puts myself to shame.

We did discuss that she is rarely seen without looking like perfection. And a couple of my friends pointed out how unrealistic this would be, EVERYDAY. I mean, surely this would put a huge dent into your getting ready schedule, it would take me days to get to her standards, many even months.

Although she may be polished to the point of OCD, I still adore this woman. I need her figure, it is to die for - and her wardrobe. She emulates smart/casual without any form of effort and oozes sophistication. Unfortunately she has just split up from hubby, Orlando Bloom, which I cannot begin to fathom. Hollywoods's most beautiful couple are over people, my time to swoop in and mend Mr Bloom's obviously broken heart.

But have no fear, they still have the cutest little boy the world can imagine, and with a dress sense like mum this little boy could go very far. Keep your eyes on this one.

What do you think of the controversial Miranda?
Please leave me some comments I love to read them and see your lovely blogs.
